The Wiltshire Parent Carer Council is organising a series of sessions for parent carers to talk about planning for developing and expanding special school provision in Wiltshire.

The local authority has identified that by 2026 there will be a need for 220 extra special school places. There are a lot of issues involved in deciding how to create these new places, while at the same time making sure that provision for all children and young people with SEND continually improves.

Sessions will take place during Decemeber in Trowbridge, Chippenham and Salisbury please see the leaflets below for more info

Well done and thank you to Liam, Stacey, Louisa, Sharon and Dawn.

A lovely quote from England Rugby full back Mike Brown:mike brown 2 small

"Splash is a brilliant organisation working with young people in Wiltshire who are facing challenges in their lives. I think it’s fantastic that Splash is again running a rugby project at my old club Salisbury RFC this Summer. Splash works to build young people’s self-confidence, social and team work skills as well as helping them to make positive choices about their lives – such similar values to those we aspire to in rugby."

Look out for our Summer rugby project at Salisbury on 17/18 Aug
