Home-Start Kennet is a voluntary organisation offering support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in our local communities. 

 

Thanks to funding from The Royal British Legion, Home Start have an exciting opportunity for a Family Group Leader to join our team. The Family Group Leader will be responsible for developing and delivering a programme of family group sessions designed to support military families with young children, who are either moving to the Wiltshire area from military bases abroad, or moving on from military life.

 

It is essential that candidates have a strong understanding of the needs of families with young children, in addition to knowledge of the military. Candidates must also hold relevant previous experience, particularly of delivering group work or training sessions, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Use of a car is essential. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS records check.

BBC TV are working on a BBC Project about children's health and treatment.

They are really keen to talk to parents of children with a diagnosis of Asthma, Sleeping problems, Cows Milk Allergy, ADHD, or Eczema.

 

They are particularity keen to also speak to parents of under 12's who have a diagnosis of depression.

 

The programme is looking at the treatments available for the above conditions and assessing whether alternatives or complimentary treatment could improve those conditions.

Office is based in Devizes, Wiltshire although working in Corsham, Wiltshire

 

Approximately 5 hours per week (on a Saturday) 

 

Pay: £9.00 per hour gross

 

Community First is a development and support charity and Company Limited by Guarantee, delivering a wide range of community services across Wiltshire and Swindon.

 

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible to assist our Community Transport Team in delivering a community bus service each Saturday in Corsham. There is a set route to be followed commencing at 8.25 am and finishing at approximately 1pm.

 

You will require a full clean driving licence withD1 entitlement and passenger driving experience would be preferred although not essential as full training could be given.

 

An Enhanced DBS check would be required for this position.
